Rounded Photo Edges

Here is another way to give your photos a new kind of edging.

Step 1.  Open this image in Photoshop.  (You can download this photo from this site.)

Step 2. In the Layers Palette, double click layer to transform it into a regular layer.

Step 3. In the bottom of the Layers Palette, click the add layer mask twice.

Step 4.  Select the Rounded Rectangle Tool in the in the tool box or press "U".  Iin the Options Bar make sure that you are in the paths icon.   Adjust radius to 30 (or any value you like).

Step 5.   Then, add stroke by clicking the add a layer style icon in the Layers Palette.

Step 6.   Click create a new layer in the bottom of the Layers Palette.  Fill it with #ccff99 and then drag layer below Layer 0.

This will be the final result.
